DrLuhard.com publishes general medical information authored or medically reviewed by Dr Luhard Jansen van Vuuren, MBChB (Pret), an HPCSA-registered general medical practitioner.

## How content is prepared

Clinical pages identify their medical author or reviewer and, where relevant, their publication or review date. Content aims to separate established clinical guidance from emerging or uncertain evidence and uses primary guidelines, regulators, public-health bodies and peer-reviewed research where appropriate.

## Emerging therapies

Peptide products and other emerging interventions vary in evidence, regulatory status, manufacturing quality and appropriate use. The website does not imply that every product described is approved, indicated or suitable for every patient. A consultation does not guarantee treatment or a prescription.

## Assessment-first principle

Content reflects an assessment-first approach: define the clinical question, investigate where results could change care, discuss benefits, risks and uncertainty, and monitor outcomes. Medical weight loss, peptide medicine, hormone care and supplementation are possible components of an individual plan—not a universal treatment stack.

## Updates and corrections

Material clinical content is reviewed when important evidence or guidance changes. Substantive pages show a publication or review date where useful. Corrections are made directly to the authoritative page.

## Commercial and entity boundaries

DrLuhard.com represents Dr Luhard as a doctor, expert and author. Medify is the patient-care practice; MedBase is a separate healthcare-professional education provider; MedCentre Waterkloof is a separate multidisciplinary facility. These entities are not interchangeable.

## Scope

Website information is educational and cannot account for an individual’s history, examination, investigations or treatment response. It does not replace a consultation, diagnosis or personalised medical advice. In an emergency, use the appropriate emergency service.
